In turn barbaric, potential terrorist and eternal foreigner, the "young men of the suburbs" are often a male figure, despised, flattered, sacrificed or heroicized.  Alexandre Fandard wants to bring the complexity of this figure to the stage, to rehabilitate her, without naive optimism, perhaps simply to give her the place that should be hers in the human and social community.
