• The call welcomes original, experimental and research projects identified in the multidisciplinary sectors of contemporary dance//circus art//dance theatre.

• The commission made up of choreographers, programmers, production bodies, holders of artistic residency, has the burden of assigning the RECOGNITION TO WRITING  and that of EVALUATING how each project can be valued and CHANNELED, assigning tutoring, artistic residencies, production, touring. 

• The 7 selected projects will all be supported with awards and incentives in the year  2023 and for circulation, programming and artistic residencies through further contractual forms in the year 2024.

c)* Choreographic residence Equilibrio Dinamico Ensemble: invitation as guest choreographer for the international project Equilibrio Dinamico ENSEMBLE. Equilibrio Dinamico provides: cachet for an unpublished creation with an ensemble of 30 dancers, travel, board and lodgingio.Period to be agreed in November/December 2023 in the city of Bari, Puglia.

PERFORMANCE PHASES:

​

PRELIMINARY PHASE: Pre-selection of projects through videos and required documentation CALL opening from 5 April until the deadline of 15 May 2023 The proposals received will be pre-selected, through the documentation required by the call and by filling in the online form. By 30 May 2023 the artistic direction will select seven choreographic proposals; Subsequently the pre-selected candidates will be summoned and they will be sent the letter of acceptance to the criteria of the band;

• 1st PHASE Tuesday 27 June 2023 preparatory meeting for all artists through the offer of:

*aWORKSHOPS Preparatory  to the offer of choreographic residence occasion  referred to in point C)*, conducted by the choreographer Roberta Ferrara/ Ensemble Dynamic Balance -  open only for selected dancers in order to create a moment of sharing and meeting between the candidates;

* the vision of“ADEUS” SHOWproduced by the Oltrenotte Company on the occasion of the Festival.

 

• 2nd PHASE Wednesday 28 June 2023 - Sa Manifattura Cagliari

from 10.00/14.00: tests for all candidates: Space rehearsals and meeting with the technicians. 30' are expected for each.

 

• 3rd PHASE Thursday 29 July 2023 - Sa Manifattura Cagliari

_from 9.30 to 17.30 each theater space is available for one hour;

_from 18.30: space open for pre-show warm-up;

_21.30 start of the representation of the selected projects with the presence of only the commission, behind closed doors.

 

•4th PHASE Friday 30 June 2023 - Sa Manifattura Cagliari

_from 10.00 to 14.00 meeting/interview with the commission (each candidate in turn will be able to explain the specifics regarding their proposal and facilitate the commission to carry out the distribution of incentives and awards);

_from 18.30: space open for pre-show warm-up; _20.00 start of the representation of the selected projects with the presence of the commission and the public.

_ 10.00 pm buffet

COMMUNICATION OF FINAL RESULTS11.30 pm communication of the final results by the artistic commission (distribution and assignment of the different incentives and awards provided for by the announcement).
