L'evento

On 20 and 22 September, "The path of K" will be staged. A six-handed creation, a tribute to the poetics of Tadeusz Kantor, a meeting of beauty in memory. A scene populated by "poor" objects: wood, rusty old iron, objects snatched from garbage, from death, suspended between the past and the infinite, which bring to light gestures, sounds, smells, familiarity, emotions.

“A walk on the scene as in a cemetery, searching for the traces of this life that just ago moved us so much”. From these reflections of the Polish playwright comes the inspiration for this first form of show (not a representation). An extraordinary journey through memory, in which the desire is to build a Kantorian scene populated by wood, rusty old iron, objects snatched from death, suspended between the past and the infinite. Objects that Kantor liked to define as poor, objects without dignity for daily use, which precisely because they are such, bring to light gestures, sounds, smells, familiarity, emotions. Actors who populate the scene with presences that have nothing alive, real, but bring to mind wandering dead, ghosts. On stage: Anthony Mathieu and Antonio Piovanelli, with the participation of Lucrezia Maimone; Conception and lights: Gerardo Jonas Gouveia Villarroel; Make up, Federica Liseni. An international co-production by Terpsicorea (Cagliari, Italy), Théatre Crac (Nimes, France) and Scaraboum (Avignon, France). With the support of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Municipality of Cagliari, MIBACT. 2018 artistic residency contribution: Twain Production Center and Vera Stasi Association / Projects for the Scene – Tuscania.
